Gold-ATM machines! Err.. whaa??

The Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi was the first place in the world to have a Gold-ATM machine. The "Gold to Go" machine has 5 and 10 gram gold bars as well as various types of gold coins, and apparently has an in built mechanism that allows it to check the price of gold every 10 minutes and update the system. Two people bought one of each item and the gold-plated vending machine ATM, that stocked a 100 pieces, was sold out by the end of the day. Of course it would! This is so much better than Vegas slot machines.. Odds are completely on your side!
