Madonna Unretouched!

I saw these pictures of Madonna and thought, OMG.. she looks BAD! A lot of the sites online are going on about how beautiful and well maintained she looks for a 50 plus year old. I don't know what they're smoking, because my mother is 63 and looks as "youthful" as her- without having any botox or surgery. Moreover my mother, like MANY other women her age, carries herself with elegance and grace, and doesn't feel the need to date 23 year olds or have bunny ears on her head to appear youthful. The closest she's come to it is probably posing with a Mickey cap on her head while escorting her grandkids (my nephews) to Disney. 

Recently I've been having the discussion of botox with a lot with my friends, and am quite shocked and taken aback by the number of people using it, without a second thought. These are mostly people in their 30's! I can't quite understand the allure of putting poison into your face without really knowing the after effects of what it'll do to you 20 years from now, but hey.. that's just me! I for one can take solace in the fact that my parents grew better looking with age, and hope those genes rubbed off on me! In time I guess, we'll tell.
