Sony's new cameras to offer 3D capability!

A couple of days back Sony announced the Cybershot WX5 and TX9 cameras, and I must say they look really, really great. How are they any different than the other Sony cameras that I've reviewed here? Well, they are actually a LOT better for one reason- 3D!! These point and shoot cameras have the ability to shoot 3D ready images, and then are tiny enough for you to slip back into your pocket. There is actually another reason I'm very impressed with what these cameras can do. Recently I was talking to a friend who wanted to get a semi-professional camera to be able to take nice pictures of her kids, but didn't really know how to use it beyond the regular auto mode. I told her to not look beyond the Sony NEX series as they were just so simple to use and without knowing anything about aperture or f stops, one could get those pics with the gorgeous blurry background images at the click of a button. Well, guess what? These little cameras have the same type of technology, which makes them absolutely revolutionary!
They're out in September and I can't wait to get my hands on the pink TX9-
