The Apple iPad- So close yet so far away!

The Apple Fanboys world over have waited, with bated breath, for the 3rd of April to arrive. For those of you not in the know, it is when everyone who pre-ordered their iPad in the US, have the pleasure of a UPS delivery guy ringing their doorbell and making them very, very happy. While the rest of us have had to wait for the official delivery date, a few "celebrity reviewers" (if there is such a thing) got their hands on one early and have been waxing lyrical about the device. Here are the links to a few worth reading:

Walt Mossberg for the Wall Street Journal
Funnyman Stephen Fry for Time magazine
David Pogue's FAQ for the NY Times
When the iPad was announced, everyone lamented on what the iPad could NOT do- no multitasking.. no flash.. no built-in camera.. but now, the Developers of the Apps are very focused on trying to show exactly what it can- with some pretty remarkable results. Here is Gizmodo's (one of my most favorite tech blogs) guide to the essential iPad apps.

I will have my own review ready when my best friend (to whom my iPad ships to in NY tomorrow) is kind enough to rush to the post office and overnight it to me all the way to Dubai. Expect one sometime next week. CAN. NOT. WAIT!!!
